Proper Replacement & Installation Means Leak-Free
Skylights traditionally have received poor reviews due to leakage. The reason for the leakage is often not because of poor-quality skylights, but because the installers aren’t trained in proper installation. If the skylight itself leaks, it is often because the unit was not replaced when the rest of the roof was replaced.
Skylights do not last forever, so if an existing skylight has had many years of use, it’s a good idea to have it replaced when a new roof is installed.
